Picking up my '24 GS 1300 tomorrow from Herwaldt Motorsports in Fresno, CA. I got tired of waiting for the special order I wanted and decided to buy the one on the showroom floor. It's got a few things I didn't want (heated seat, electric windscreen), but they came with the package and I'll live with them. Had to get the adaptive ride-height (5'8"). This will be my 8th BMW & loved them all: '07 GSA, '14 GS, '17 GS & 3 650 singles (currently have an '07 Challenge, a '14 G650GS) & a '20 S1000XR. Hopefully will have a few more riding years (73 yr old retiree)! Wish me luck!

Hey Jimy J! 🎉 That's awesome news!
What was it about the GS 1300 that finally made you decide to buy it off the showroom floor? Are there specific upgrades or changes you're considering for your new bike? Since you’ve had a variety of BMWs, are there any particular features from your previous models that you miss or hope to see again?

So sorry it's taken me this long to get back to you!...Biggest reason for buying the showroom model was that I was getting tired of waiting!...and I saw it every Saturday...I work as a "Greeter" at the Fresno BMW shop one day a week since retiring in 2008. As far as upgrades, I've already installed engine guards, headlight protector and radiator protectors. Next is a Denali horn & Clearwater lighting (Darla's for the front & a Billie light for the rear). Still undecided about luggage, but leaning toward SW MOTECH boxes. Nothing comes to mind about things I miss from my previous GS's. Just got the first service done and will be riding to San Luis Obispo this weekend and Topaz Lake next weekend.

Nice. I bought my Triple Black in Modesto. I’ve got the electric windscreen and seat / grip heating. The electric windscreen is nice. Had one on my FJR. I’m 70 and retired. Off to the Grand Canyon next week.
